I can assure you it won’t be warm tint or high cri.
Is the ultimate EDC flashlight also possible with SFT-25R?
Exactly. Only 5000-6500 K 70 CRI is available for XP-LR, like the SFT-25R.
It’s funny that the x20 already has the sft-25r as an option, so now it’s just using Cree’s version of it. I’d like to see if they sorted the issue with the tint shift and +duv with thr Xp-LR. Maybe this is a new E75? Maybe a 18650 version?
According to the Cree data sheet, this is probably not the case. The specs are almost identical to the SFT-25R. The tintshift of the XP-LR is only slightly lower.
Funny, I actually EDC the TAC 2AA. Crazy bright, I used it with a diffuser to flag down a train. Easy to fit in a pocket. Also cheap enough that I am not scared to lose it.
Good afternoon and evening! My Acebeam E75 Xp-lr has arrived. The flashlight is great!
I am attaching a photo of the beam at a distance of 2.2, 10, and 100 meters.
And to finish, here are some comparison photos of the E75 xp-lr, EC50-III, and Convoy m3-c. At a distance of 2.2 meters and 10 meters.
I was very pleased with the clarity of the xp-lr’s light.
Looking at the photos of the sft-25r’s beam on the internet, I can assume that Cree has done a great job with the Luminus product.
However, this is just an assumption.

The flashlight is excellent. It’s been over six months, but I still haven’t seen a full review of the Acebeam E75 with XP-LR. It would be very interesting to see the lumens output in maximum and turbo modes!
Unfortunately, I don’t have such equipment…
I’d rather have a very bloody version of the E75 with 95cri wide angle 80+> degrees. Warm tint.
Maybe something like the Ffl351 3700k or something . Over 90cri
They made the E75 with 5000k 519A (95 cri). I tested it.
