Looking sweet! There is one thing I don’t quite understand. On your website it says:
“Stainless steel pocket clip attaches to the brim of a hat for hands-free use”

Does it mean that the pocket clip can be moved to the front end of the tube?
If not, attaching the light to the brim of my hat means that it shines into my eyes.

What is the output on AA battery?

Looks like a great AA/14500 light. Would like to see the specs for AA NiMH batteries.

Damn, if it wasn’t for minimum 50$ order I would take it right now… Maybe I’ll wait for black Friday and take 2

Looks like a decent light.
When does it get to Amazon stocks?
Also who makes the cool 6500k emitter?
Guessing Coyote color is tan maybe.

Now that’s a cool light. I will be a buyer when it goes on sale.

A bit big for an AA but surely built like a tank, from the looks! I’ll be looking for a review of it!

$25 a piece if you buy 2 or more right now.

Still have yet to see a review looking at brightness using NiMH.

My TAC AA doesn’t work with NiMH. When I insert an Eneloop, the modes are low → lower → high → high instead of low → med → high → turbo.

It works perfectly with Li-ion battery.

@ACEBEAM Is this a known problem?

No wonder Acebeam did not want to respond to my question “how is output on NiMh…”

I have the pokelit and Rider RX which I like the 14500 form factor. Although this new outer design looks good for the purpose, I can’t use any “tac” flashlights that don’t have a way to always come on in high/Turbo, especially for momentary on/off use. Single button with mode memory and so many modes still designates this as a task light for me.

Others’ opinions may vary.

Well at least it works and does have some brightness from AA.
This may be another light that “Will work with common AA” but better used this way as emergency backup rather than daily driver use.
Personally I like it when they do have dual fuel because then the lowest usually gets real low which for bedroom use is desirable. Hate losing night vision and reactivating brain out of lets sleep mode.

SammysHP, can you do a ceiling bounce measurement or any measurement possible?

Sure, it will be included in my review (just started, so it might take two weeks).
