Count me in for the GAW, please and thanks.
My thoughts? Get the button feel right. Nothing sucks more than a mushy, unsatisfying button.
Deep smooth reflector would be an asset.
If choosing between a “100m-dash”-like FET driver and a “marathon”-like buck driver, I would go for the latter.
Low voltage protection, or at least low voltage warning, is a must.
The use of proprietary cells would be an instant buzzkill for me.
I expect a tactical flashlight to have a forward clickie (with momentary), and please make it a silent clickie.
And yes, I sure would like to win this tactical flashlight.
If it is to be a tactical flashlight for active duty, make it as sturdy as possible.
I think I see a bezel ring in the first picture . Maybe you could make that out of (anodized) stainless steel.
While you at it, dip the driver in a material that prevents electronic parts to break loose from the PCB.
Preferably in a way the driver can be swapped, but only in one piece.
Good luck with your enterprise.
Not sure where the cyberpunk shiuld be found, but it sure does look nice.
In for the gaw.
Looks great! Will it be potted? And have you considered adding a tactical finger ring to it?
Nice flashlight, but I would also prefer buck driver and warmer color temperature (even 5000K would do).
I’m in for the GAW and thank you.
The flashlight looks good, however from the current design I’m not sure whether there is a plan for clips and lanyard (Not that I necessarily need those)
My suggestion:
- forward click for the button since it is a tactical flashlight
- 5000K CCT
- Regulated driver
- Please space the LMH level nicely. I would probably set it like L = 70lm, M = 150lm, H = 350 lm
- Moonlight mode would be great but it is optional
Later we may sell on the website, you can keep watching us, thank you.
Thanks to TBones0072, our exterior design is inspired by the style of Cyber.
Currently the modes of our first version setup
Multi-mode adjustment:
Normal version: support three brightness adjustments (High-Medium-Low) .
In any mode, double click to turn on TURBO brightness.
In any mode, turn off the V2 flashlight to turn on the high brightness.
Later we will add a tactical version: TURBO mode + hidden low mode.
By the way, the Anduril system is really a great operating system, but we think it may not be suitable for the general public and is a bit complicated to use. We may add a limited batch of Anduril V2 in the future.
Thank you, we’ll be starting a sweepstakes giveaway soon, so stay tuned.
Hi Henk4U2
Thank you for your feedback, we will soon start the raffle giveaway, please stay tuned with us.
Hi davy_jones
Thank you for your interest and comments, our first V2 releases used a hard oxidized version . The exterior finish is very robust . (We are having a pain in the ass with a 50W laser to laser the logo).
Thanks a lot!
Hi Lightweightled
Thank you for your interest, we will be drawing for a free giveaway on December 31st, so keep checking back with us.
Hi fizzgig
Thank you for your interest, we will probably not add tactical rings to the first generation (we may add them later, customizations need to be developed at this time).
Hi nver
Thank you for your attention, the first batch of color temperature is 6500K, we will add different color temperature options after mass production. You can keep watching us. Thank you for your interest.
Hi dhaccm
Thanks for the reference, our current design of the V2 is not planned to have a clip or lanyard. We have positioned the V2 as a tactical flashlight type, with the buttons protruding externally. We do offer 2 versions of the model to choose from. Keep an eye on our V2 Cyber for further production, thank you.
When is the kickstarter going live and what will it cost?
SAOPRKLER V2 Flashlight by SAOPRKLER — Kickstarter
This is our kickstarter link that you can follow to follow.
We plan to do it the week after Christmas .
There will be a discount for a limited first batch price, thank you!
Thanks for running a giveaway competition.
The machining on the body is nice- it won’t be mistaken for another brand. The specs are good too (LED choice and throw).
PS: The link to your website doesn’t work for me?
Really like the tactical look. Thanks for the giveaway
