Newbie diy helmet mountable torch for firefighter

Hi dudes, I’m looking to build a torch
To be helmet mountable for firefighting, I was looking at running a convoy s11 with a cree xhp70.2 on a 20mm DTP mcpcb with some sort of 22mm boost driver. With a 26650 battery but it occurred to me that I’m dabbling with forces I do not yet fully understand. So I thought I would run it by you guys.
Ideally I would like something that works something like a stream light vantage 2 however I’m not really that fussy as long as the job gets done
Things I need:

- torch much be well suited to use in hot environments (like in a fire)

  • torch mush be water resistant (if I accidentally get sprayed with high pressured hose I would prefer it to keep working if possible)
-it must be easy to use when wearing thick gloves or in thick smoke!
-it must be able to be used efficiently over long period of time

Things I would really like:

Torch to be adjustable in terms of beam ( super wide beam to something more focussed)
Torch to be adjustable in terms of its housing like swivel the angle of the torch up or down from its mount.
Torch to have some sort of magnet such that I can stick it
To something metal (like a fire truck)
Torch to be rechargeable easily like if possible by docking or plugging in USB.

It would be really good if I could turn night into day!

As a side joke but also semi seriously it would be good if I could say let there be light and there be light and it is good!

Torch to be adjustable in terms of beam ( super wide beam to something more focussed)
matches none the above criteria
USB rechargeable with water resistance of a hose needs a magnetic charge like Olight H2R has

a lot of heat and LiIon battery is not a good combination
for fire workers often explosion safe lights are mandatory

Thank you for that, so what would you suggest?

Most caving lights have these specifications (not including the magnet)

L shape lights also have most of the specifications but only wide beam.

have a look at panda 3

thanks guys, very helpful… I’m basically going to forget doing the diy.
