The NEXTORCH eStar is a knob controlled headlamp with a spotlight, a floodlight and a red light. It takes three AAA batteries or a rechargeable LiPo battery with USB-C charging.
The runtimes are better than expected and the output is well regulated.
Spotlight
Floodlight
Both (Spot + Flood)
The thermals are pretty good.

Nice review.
BTW, does the word “Knob” down under have the same meaning/use as in good old blighty?

Is the level memorised for each mode separately or applies to all of them?

The brightness level applies to all of the modes. So if you have it set to 100% it will be 100% when you switch between modes.
I noticed that making it dimmer takes more turns compared too making it brighter.
