I prefer the larger one. Bigger reflector, bigger battery.

I use the smaller one a lot more. The larger one has many performance advantages though.

I prefer the size of the TA30C. The pocket clip is more secure and the tail button is easier to access.

Personally, for tactical purpose, I use 18650-format flashlight. TA30C tail button is a lot easier to access, the grip is more comfort and it is still pocket-able.
