The TA30D is the upgraded version of the TA30C. The beam now has a more intense hotspot, reaches farther, and the user interface has been improved with new Tactical and Lock modes.
There’s still a momentary strobe when you fully press the button while in any mode except Lockout. It’s nice that Strobe was removed from the rotary switch so that you don’t accidentally select it.
