Nitecore EDC29 Tactical Torch Review

The Nitecore EDC29 is a flat-style tactical light with two NiteLab UHi 20 MAX LEDs, an optical sensor, two dual-stage tactical buttons, a Rapid Lock switch, an OLED display and built-in USB-C charging.

It has an OLED display.

Built-in USB-C charging for the built-in 2500mAh battery.

And a proximity sensor.

SEARCH and LUMIN SHIELD modes can be momentarily activated and re-activated by pressing the larger Customizable switch down.

Nitecore kindly sent the EDC29 for review.

I really like almost everything about this light, but I wish they offered something like nichia 519a 4500k.

Also I wish one of you would do drop tests, repeated , from many angles.

Given the fact that thing is made like a iPhone something tells me that the light would start falling apart in less than 5 drops.

Which is a shame, cause I love the way it looks, the oled screen, mechanical lockout switch, runtime is pretty good considering the battery capacity not that big.

Your reviews are great btw.
