Nitecore new secret weapon?

Just wondering if anyone have any idea about this new light from Nitecore?

it’s the one on the left… and certainly it’s not this new EAX from Nitecore

dang, that thing is like a giant, a monster, and has the TM 26 Lcd style screen as well. Judging from the size, maybe 5000+ lumens? Would love to see that in action!

edit: they should name it "Massive Monster MM100"

Mt-g2 or what?

edit: I’ve stayed up too late.

Ooooh nice, thanks for sharing. I actually prefer the feel of the switch and the user interface of my EA4 over the D40A, though the D40A has a much higher build quality. This one looks like an EA8 on steroids. Looks pretty sweet. Nitecore is just kicking butt lately.

I hope it has three MT-G2's, that would crush anything out there in the market by a huge margin. Add in a nice reflector like the TK-75, and make it deeper and bigger and BOOM! A true monster

That's the TM36 with a SBT-70 LED.

1800? But this thing looks huge… ok, SBT-70… 25-40W. 1KM throw distance.

OMG it looks like an electronic bazooka. I’m curious what an “NBP52 battery pack” is.

Thanks for the update calvin, but I see a few problems with this thing now that we know its specs. Only 1800 lumens? Dont really know much about the Luminus SBT-70, but doesn't look too impressive to me. And surely there is no way that's a Tiny Monster to harbor the TM36 name is it? Don't we have C8's out there that are pushing out 1600-1700 lumens off a single XM-L2? Wonder how the SBT-70 compares. And lastly, that thing looks huge, no, not huge..... massive! Thats a better word!

My hope of it being a 3x MT-G2 has been crushed! Thanks for the info on this either way. Nitecore needs to make flashlights people want, not what they think people want!

The NBP52 is essentially a sealed battery pack with 8 18650s inside. It's compatible with all the TM series.

Doubt it can beat the tk61 price tho…

It looks to be nearly twice as big, with NC’s fancy display, and a proprietary battery pack… ain’t no way it will be priced anywhere near the TK61. :stuck_out_tongue:

I care about throw and not some fancy display…

Its no “TinyMonster” TM-Series from the size of that next to the TM26. :stuck_out_tongue:
maybe its called the TubbyMonster-TM36 ?

I see it’s under the “new arrivals” at Banggood’s website.

It’s $121.99 and stock is expected May 3rd. Pity it’s using XML’s.
MTG-2’s would have been my preference.

Maybe it should be called the "TitanicMonster TM-36"

Driving 2 x XM-L2’s from only 8xAA? I’ll pass, but its definitely a cool looking light.

90 mm head?? that’s awesome, that’s bigger than my Fenix TK61 77.60mm head!
I wonder how much it will cost? ( I’m sure it’s going to cost a lot more han Fenix TK61 ) btw… where did you get this pic calvin?
I can’t even find it on their website :stuck_out_tongue:

don’t like about their proprietary battery pack though, just like Fenix RC40 :Sp
I rather have the option to choose your own batteries

First there was TN31 and then K50 and then they all dethroned by TK61 now Nitecore TM36 is taking over?
what’s next? FENIX will come up with 120mm Head?

It's been in their catalog for a little while now. http://www.nitecore.com/UploadFile/Files/download/1-1_NC2014_Catalog_En_140128_web.pdf

I don't have a sample of that one unfortunately, I did recently receive a P20 though :P
