Nitecore NU25 rechargeable runtime compared to AAA headlamp

Thinking of getting a Nitecore NU25 headlamp as a lightweight backpacking light - this one has a built-in rechargeable 610mAh li-ion battery. That seems like a low mAh rating to me. I couldn’t find a comparable mAh rating for my Princeton headlamp where I usually run 3 standard AAA Duracell or Energizers. Can someone help me compare the mAh between the 2?

This excellent comparator has lots of cells you can compare, it looks like eneloops have 750mAh, so 3 cells x 1.25V x 0.75mAh = 2.81Wh.

The li-ion cell has 3.7v x 0.610mAh = 2.257Wh.

It looks like you are correct that the NU25 has smaller battery capacity than a 3xAAA headlamp- I haven’t looked at the size/weight, but I would imagine the rechargeable option is smaller and lighter.
