I use the pocket clip to guard the switches as intended and have no problems at all when its in my pocket hooked to my key ring. With the original TIP in lock out mode it still came on a few times over the years of carrying it. I like the shaved button mod and just might give this a try when I am board. I picked my SE Tip up with an eBay code costing me 7 dollars and change so I can’t complain at this price
