No ~800-1000 lumen mode is a bummer
If it cannot hold 800 lumens for a long time this is no go for me

When I got the EDC 29, my initial impression was “stellar output, but too long for comfortable pocket carry. If only they made a version of it as short as the EDC 23”.
The EDC 37 seems to be exactly what I was looking for. When I get one I will replace the pocket clip with a modified black Convoy clip so it will sit a cm lower in the pocket.
Not crazy about the flat form factor. Also it seems to be one of those throw away lights that you throw away when the battery dies. Not crazy about that either.
