Niteye Dealers

I am looking at buying a magnetically variable light. The 2 models I am looking at are the JetBeam RRT-21 and the Niteye TF20, they look to be very similar lights, possibly even the same seeing as JetBeam and Niteye are designed by the same person and for all I know may even be the same company. I know of a lot of Jetbeam dealers however I haven't seen many/any Niteye dealers, so I was wondering if any of you know where to get the TF20. Thanks!

GoingGear has the TF20: http://goinggear.com/flashlights/flashlights/niteye-tf20-cree-xm-l-u2-led-520-lumen-flashlight.html

Awesome, maybe find a few more dealers. It looks really nice though.

IO carries their line but I don't see the TF20 specifically, perhaps you can drop a line to Hank.

Awesome, I am comparing the TF20, the Jetbeam RRT-21 and the Sunwayman V20C, leaning towards the Jetbeam as I have a BC40 and like it, but the other 2 also look very nice.

Since you seem to be looking into 1x18650 mag. control rings, you might as well look into all your options. You might also be interested in:

M1B

The M1A is implemented a little differently (control is in the tail) but does offer variable stepped outputs as well.

Ah yes, forgot about those. The big thing is I want the infinitely variable style that the SWM, Jetbeam and Niteye have. Also am looking more for flood than throw. I like being able to use the light for walking at night so having it illuminate to my feet, even dimly is nice. My BC40 throws a nice beam and has decent spill, but outside of it there is 0 light, nothing by my feet. I am wondering if this is due to it having an anti-reflection coated lens whereas all my other lights that do light up my feet as well have standard glass. Anyway, that’s neither here nor there, I mainly want the infinite adjustment, otherwise it seems that same as a normal light you click the tailcap to adjust modes on.

The flood profile would have more to do with the reflector than the lens being AR coated. In this case, you would want a OP reflector for better spill (flood).

The TF20 might not be good in this regards as based on the pics on mfg site, it has a smooth reflector. Of course, the texture of the reflector is but one factor impacting the spill. Shallower reflectors would tend to cast a broader spill vs. a deep one so best to read up on all the reviews and ask questions on them as to the beam profile.

Best of luck and I hope you find what you're looking for.

Cheers,
Tim
