Was wondering if Noctigon K9.3 is also capable of tint ramping or just instant channel switch?
Thank you !

Yes, it just ships with a very old firmware where it can only do one or the other.
Here’s the latest multichannel build for the K9.3: 35.2 KB file on MEGA
219B: 35.2 KB file on MEGA
noFET: 34 KB file on MEGA
Thank you wolfgirl42 !
If you order it, ask Hank to flash it with the ramping firmware.
The latest firmware allows both, but tint ramping on a K9.3 isn’t usually very useful.
Here’s the most recent build:

The exact variant may differ though, depending on which LEDs it uses. There’s also a reduced-fet version and a no-fet version, and Hank picks whatever is appropriate for the LEDs.
Thank you ToyKeeper!
For the 9 channel i got SST-20 Deep Red with W1 Amber on the 3 channel, so maybe a reduced FET will work best for the red leds .
I’m not sure if a DD FET is safe for those or not. I checked the data sheet, and SST-20 DR apparently goes from about 1.8V to 3.8V depending on current, while the battery is about 4.2V when full (minus sag which increases with current). So it might be okay with direct drive, or it might burn out the LEDs or age them quickly.
I’d recommend letting Hank choose the right firmware flavor, since the answer isn’t obvious from the specs, and he has probably tested actual hardware to find the answer.
It would also be a good idea to get a flashing kit if you don’t have one already, if you want to stay up to date or try other builds or make customizations.
