Hi I have a KR1 here I don’t use because of the tiny hotspot it throws from the osram w1 emitter. I’m looking at carrying out a swap myself to something to that wil give it a large hotspot with still good throw, I don’t need to be using a scope to see what the hotspot is hitting, I’m hopeful for around 100m with a large hotspot.
I also have to take into account I’ll only be swapping the mcpcb so the existing drivers limitations are in force here with the current it can drive.
Sft25r is maybe a good option but how is the duv on the 5000k?
Then what about sft 40
I think the SFT40 is a good choice. Also, the SBT90.2 would be amazing, but is really expensive and requires a lot of power. The SFT25 would work, but if you only need to see 100 meters, the SFT40 or SBT90.2 would have a more useful hotspot.
W2 (CSLPM1.TG) would also be a good choice. Larger hotspot than the W1 (and a better light, as well). And it can use the same mcpcb you’ve already got in there since it’s also a 3030.
W1 left, W2 right. Both in S2+ with SMO reflector and 3v5a buck drivers.
