Two new Delike Hunyuan fountain pens (the two on the left of the three, next to my old Delike Elementum). Amazing pens for only $10 each. Hell, even for $30 they would be awesome.
But with the price comes the problem. The stock for the left pen was not centered correctly in the lathe and has a flat area on the side. Also it seems like it got a clear coating. I polished everything with steel wool, shiny. The issue has its good side: I will carry it as EDC and I don’t fear the wear and scratches.
All three are brass, but the one in the middle with the knurling has black paint. With use it will rub off and show a nice stonewash finish. You could even sand it off and get a good contrast between high and low spots.
Overall Delike makes some awesome pens. Compared to my Kaweco pens I prefer Delike.
This car battery charger/maintainer was on lightning deal on Amazon the other day, so I grabbed it, mainly because it displays actual charging current, and it seems to be accurate compared to my clamp meter.
KGUSS DAC-K3 showed up yesterday. It is a DAC + headphone amplifier. It has USB, rca and optical inputs.
Sound is much better than the motherboard audio I’ve been living with. I have a self-built DAC and headphone amplifier at work. I keep thinking about bringing it home but it takes up a lot of desk space.
The paper specs and tests on a russian website are darn good, especially considering the price. ($60 from Banggood)

Heated socks and vest for hunting geese… they use Liion batteries and little battery packs that slip into a stitched-in pocket at the top of the sock. One battery pack per sock. They have heating elements stitched into the front of the socks (over and under the toe area). The packs show battery charge, and have three modes of heat: low (green), medium (orange), and high (red).
I tested them today outside for a few hours and they and the vest were TOO warm in even low heat as it was 45 degrees. But goose hunting in 10 degree wind chill… they should help out this week while sitting in the blind.
Picked up this oil filled radiator heater for my office. I like this radiator-type better than the blower-type heaters because it is silent and it also continues to radiate heat for some time after you switch it off thanks to hot oil inside. Comes with a remote, too. Not bad for $34 shipped from Walmart.
