Two new Delike Hunyuan fountain pens (the two on the left of the three, next to my old Delike Elementum). Amazing pens for only $10 each. Hell, even for $30 they would be awesome.

But with the price comes the problem. The stock for the left pen was not centered correctly in the lathe and has a flat area on the side. Also it seems like it got a clear coating. I polished everything with steel wool, shiny. The issue has its good side: I will carry it as EDC and I don’t fear the wear and scratches.

All three are brass, but the one in the middle with the knurling has black paint. With use it will rub off and show a nice stonewash finish. You could even sand it off and get a good contrast between high and low spots.

Overall Delike makes some awesome pens. Compared to my Kaweco pens I prefer Delike.

A Raspberry Pi 400

This car battery charger/maintainer was on lightning deal on Amazon the other day, so I grabbed it, mainly because it displays actual charging current, and it seems to be accurate compared to my clamp meter.

KGUSS DAC-K3 showed up yesterday. It is a DAC + headphone amplifier. It has USB, rca and optical inputs.

Sound is much better than the motherboard audio I’ve been living with. I have a self-built DAC and headphone amplifier at work. I keep thinking about bringing it home but it takes up a lot of desk space.

The paper specs and tests on a russian website are darn good, especially considering the price. ($60 from Banggood)

Leather Holster, fits KR1 nicely, a little big for D4v2.

I had a 24" monitor die on me over a week ago.

Today I received a new 24" monitor and an adapter to hook it up to my desktop.

The ViewSonic VA2456-MHD monitor, and adapter, work great.

My old monitor was about ten and a half years old, and the new monitor is so much nicer.

Thus far, I couldn't be happier about this purchase.

I received this showerhead today.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SQ4R65K/

It outputs 2.5 gallons per minute, which is more than what is legal in the state of California.

It came with a water restrictor, and I think I'm going to install it because I tried it out, and it really does seem to output too much water for me.

If you're looking for a showerhead that outputs plenty of water, this seems to be a very good choice.

That one sentence so deeply saddens me.

The real question is, who is going to come to your house to check something like that??

Yep, the max allowed for showerheads in California is 1.8 gallons per minute.

Trying to find a showerhead that appeals to me, and is legal here, was difficult, so I decided to just get an illegal showerhead.

To my surprise, it outputs too much water for me, so I'm glad it came with a water restrictor.

No one f’s with the Shower Cops…

Heated socks and vest for hunting geese… they use Liion batteries and little battery packs that slip into a stitched-in pocket at the top of the sock. One battery pack per sock. They have heating elements stitched into the front of the socks (over and under the toe area). The packs show battery charge, and have three modes of heat: low (green), medium (orange), and high (red).

I tested them today outside for a few hours and they and the vest were TOO warm in even low heat as it was 45 degrees. But goose hunting in 10 degree wind chill… they should help out this week while sitting in the blind.

Reminds me I have 2 pairs from my hunting and fishing days. Wool blend that take D cells. Lectra Sox

our 11-year-old one would not charge to 100% anymore….

I unboxed this alarm clock today.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087WQHWQG

It's the third alarm clock I have bought in recent years.

The other two that I have are not a good fit for me, but so far I like this new one.

I was looking for very specific requirements, and this one fit the bill.

I don't think that I'll be using the radio function, but that doesn't matter too much.

The colorful light on top can be turned off, but I kinda like the green light so that's a bonus.

I looked at many different alarm clocks before picking this one, so I hope I continue to like it.

Picked up a small shortwave radio.

The internal fan in my PS3 Slim was really loud.

I used this Felo Bit Holder Screwdriver, this Boxer Bit Set, and this PS3 Slim fan to replace the fan in my PS3.

https://www.amazon.com/Zerone-Replacement-Internal-Cooling-PlayStation/dp/B07CRRJYPB

The Bit Holder Screwdriver and the Bit Set are extremely nice, and I'll be using them for a variety of projects.

I'm not sure how good the PS3 fan is, but it was the best that I could find.

The "surgery" was a success, and now my PS3 isn't crazy loud like it was before.

I bought some JIS screwdrivers (Japanese Industry Standard) from amazon

Picked up this oil filled radiator heater for my office. I like this radiator-type better than the blower-type heaters because it is silent and it also continues to radiate heat for some time after you switch it off thanks to hot oil inside. Comes with a remote, too. Not bad for $34 shipped from Walmart.

New G2 Fellhoelter Tibolt in Dots pattern came in, matches my Sinner perfectly imo.
