We’ve had a running joke for years that we needed The Clapper to control the lights in the master bedroom. So when I saw a Slickdeal for 4 C by GE Direct Connect bulbs and a Lenovo smart clock for less than the bulbs usually cost, I had to get it for my wife’s birthday.
So I set it all up this week. I don’t like the voice control, but dimming 90 CRI 2700K bulbs from my phone is fun.

I received these laptop fans a few days ago.

I am somewhat nervous as I know that taking apart a laptop is risky because laptops are not very robust like desktops are.

I tried to fix my laptop, and I killed it!
In step 8 (see above link), I tore one of the ribbon cables that connects the motherboard to the keyboard.
I put my laptop back together, but now my laptop will not turn on.
I contacted a local computer repair company, hoping they can fix my laptop.
If they cannot, I might be in the market for a new PC.
