Mmm tasty…DeOlive Gold…
Got a new camping chair today. It was a bit of a risky purchase off AliExpress with barely any pictures in the reviews and no proper reviews, but it paid off. Quality is really nice, it’s pretty light, super sturdy, and can fold very small. It’s also a lot more comfortable to sit on than I thought. The frame and joint is all aluminum, and the fabric feels similar to the larger, much more expensive camping chairs I bought in a local camping store.
Paid ~40 bucks incl shipping to the EU and VAT, not a bad price ![]()
Looks nice. But I have yet to find any of those bucket type pipe frame chairs to be something I could use for any length of time. The pressure points along the bottom of my legs just is too much. Maybe just my physiology…
Where did you get the bongo cat patch from?
Also AliExpress lol. “Hook and loop patch” “Velcro patch” should yield a bunch of similar/same results from a few different shops.
Our old microwave died, so I ordered this one for $120
(The price has since changed.)

It was delivered today.
The internal light is not very bright, and it has a harsh cool tint that I don’t like, but if that’s my biggest complaint that’s not too bad.
Despite being only 1000 watts, it’s very efficient at heating food.
This particular model doesn’t have many reviews on Amazon (most of the reviews are for other models.)
If anyone is interested in this microwave, get the black or white one.
According to at least one Amazon review, the stainless steel one isn’t as good.
I could only find one professional review that wasn’t a video review…
According to that website, this microwave is the best of the 12 that they tested, but I chose this microwave based on Consumer Reports giving the brand a good reliability score, and because of the customer reviews on Amazon (among other reasons.) ![]()
Luckily it ended up with an enthusiast, so it will probably soon be 2000 lumens and 95 CRI

I’m not a modder, and I don’t know how safe it would be to take apart a microwave, but I appreciate the sentiment. ![]()
Tidy chair. I’ve had a fair few camping chairs, the Oztent King Goanna being the most luxurious. I kept a Helinox Sunset because its high backed and comfy, a rolled towel or clothing can be used as a neck cushion with the Velcro flap, and it’s feather light and easily fits in a rucksack. Very pricy!!!
If you go to buy anything again, I recommend you have a look at One Tigris, the Dragonhide high back is another I have kept.
Stuff I got today. A real Steel Baby Barlow, shown her next to a Vic Classic SD and a standard unit of reference, a Skilhunt E3A.
This is a tidy little knife, with great fit and finish, very sharp, tight spring and solid half stop.
Not safe, very dangerous. Styropyro guy on YouTube made a crazy burning laser from one.
Switches it on at 11 mins in. ![]()
I wonder if Electro boom has done this?
Got a pair of fleece pantaloons courtesy of vipon. I got arms and legs like a ape and always need T (tall), else shirt sleeves would only come down to mid-wrist, and pantaloons would look like capri pants on me.
One dewd in the review videos said he’s 6’3", and they fit well, so I chanced it, being 6’, and they’re juuuuuuust almost long enough.
If I go gangstah and wear 'em low, they’re long enough.
They feel like cotton shell, fleece underneath. Should be good for winter.

Just use code P9ZMF67E on checkout.
Price varies. 16bux for black, just ordered 2 more in dark gray for 14bux each.
Interesting. I absolutely cannot stand cool white appliance lights. my mom won’t let me try to swap her fridge lights because of the warranty.
However, I do need a new microwave. I have the same model that caught a family member’s house on fire and I leave it unplugged until I use it. The turntable has been catching every so often.
I will keep this post in mind, thanks.
I’ve seen a lot of people online make cheap stick welders with a microwave and a car battery. even on r/Diy electronics people disassemble them for other projects.
They can be deadly dangerous, even if you know what you’re doing. I think they have some serious capacitors in there?
Flux capacitors?
I bought these from Costco in December when they were on sale for $3,799.99. With the $1,200 tax credit that brought the price down to 2,599.9, not including sales tax.
Where does the tax credit come from… Just curious as I bought an Ecoflow setup last year, but have no idea about how to get the credit
This is straight from the IRS. It’s a simple procedure to file for the credit.
