Lol, it seems like I’m in the middle of it here on Hatteras Island. Completely surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean from this evening’s high tide.
NYC getting slammed bad.
Too far west here (western PA) to get any of the bad weather from it. Still close enough to it that it is blocking any new systems heading our way so our weather is and will be great for the next 5-6 days.
Only a few days ago they were predicting maybe 1" out east and 0.2" here in NYC, and I was nuh-uh, we’re getting close to a SuperSandy this weekend.
Windy for quite a while, only started raining a bit before I put out some grub for The Creechers.
Current predictions are 2"-5" throughout.
And all that water’s gotta go somewhere…

For some reason, I “get” storms. Like 2 winters ago, 3 models predicted 4"-6" of snow at most, but 1 model (HRRR?) was predicting about 30". I was like, yeah, that’s what we’re getting.
Guess what we got?
