Entitlement is a massive problem today, and it isn’t hard to see who is pushing people to feel entitled.
That said, instead of getting annoyed (I would be, too), maybe look at it as an opportunity. Your contractor/consulting rate should be at least $100/hour. Create a patreon account and point them to the join link…

Funny, the vast majority of entitled pricks I witness and have the displeasure of interacting with are boomers and Gen X’ers, none of them is less than 45 years old. So stop trying to start a generational flame war. Every season of human breeding has entitled jagoffs.

Yeah, I agree with MtnDon. Best to avoid the generalizations and stereotypes, this thread shouldn’t be controversial. It’s safe to say there’s a lot of scumbags out there of all ages and walks of life, especially online. Sorry about that HKJ, “no good deed goes unpunished”. Lots of good people too though.

As I tell my kids other people don’t mind spending your time, effort, or money. It’s as true today as in the stone age. Just making a guess as to how far back it goes, but you get my point
