Official Group Buy Now Live! Lumintop BLF GT4 4x XHP70.2 30,000 lumen 1300m 7lb passive cooling beast!

I received a shipping notification today for the GT4 (ordered 50 days ago). I hope that he received enough units from lumintop to ship yours also.

I just received a shipping notification for the NW version too. It’s been only 6 days since I ordered so I consider myself lucky looking at others’ experience.

The only thing is that a tracking number is just 12-digits string and 17tracks.net is not sure what to do about it. Ideas?

They have been forced to use a lot of oddball carriers due to covid causing all sorts of issues with shipping. It could be any number of carriers.

You could ask Neal how to track it but I would wait a week or so before doing that to make sure it is in the system first.

Neal didn’t answer any of my emails but the light has arrived today!
Ordered it with the bag and the bag was packaged separately with the light coming in its own box (there were concerns about that earlier).

In any case, can’t wait for batteries to land tomorrow

Loaned 4 batteries from my LT1 to check beam shots on low. It’s very similar to Convoy M3 5000k. Definitely not 4000k as my S2+ with 4000k LH351D is notably more yellow.

Here are some beam shots made with Galaxy S10 on WB set to 5000k:

Sounds like the neutral version has got different leds now compared to the first couple of GT4’s sold, my GT4 had (measured) 4000K leds that were 80CRI and very yellow. I think it is a good thing because the tint of that first batch was not very nice.

Yeah, this version doesn’t look too bad. Had yet a chance to use it outside but I quite like the light of M3.
Also curious to compare it to Zebralight SC700d which comes with the same XHP70.2 5000k but 90+ CRI (!)
I’ll keep you posted.

Hello to you all,
In banggood I don’t see the temperature colour for the Lumintop GT4. How solve it? Thanks in advance.

Naturally if I want buy it!!!

It seems that the exact color has been changing some, my guess is they are having trouble getting a stable supply of LED’s right now.

The current lights should be ~5000k for NW and ~6500k for CW from the most recent reports.

Okay Texas _Ace but how to ask Banggood for the color I like? I see no choice option

That I do not know, banggood does it’s own thing.

If you use the link in the OP Lumintop GT4 4xXHP70.2 25000LM 1370m LED Flashlight – Nealsgadgets

Yeah , but more expensive of Banggood.

Understandable, in that case you will be playing the banggood lottery I suppose lol.

I would guess they would sell the CW version though as they generally prefer that one

Looks the same to me: it’s 300 USD on BG which is about the same as with Neal + the code from this thread. Also BG’s customer service is not bad at all.

It was shipped with Yun Express, no tracking update at all but I received it today.
(Ordered 2020.09.13 / received 2020.11.13)

It was in my mailbox waiting for me back from work at 05:30PM. Now it’s 6:00PM and it’s dark.
This GT4 is an insane flooder with a heavy and sexy finned head. Texas_Ace, please accept my sincere respect for your work with this beautiful and efficient design.
(Zero issue with the battery carrier, it works immediately without hassle).

Glad you like it!

Has anyone reflowed XHP70.3 HI emitters into a GT4? If so, Id appreciate your impressions.

I’ve considered the swap, but not sure I want to give up the intense wide flood beam (although the HI emitters are still likely to provide a massive amount of spill-beam). Ive read a few times that the XHP-70.3 HI performs as a much better thrower than the XHP-50.3 HI after similar HD emitter swaps. That surprised me and adds more credence for a potential swap.

I was not even aware that the 70.3 hi was a thing lol.

Got a link to a BLF test of it?

Cross posting:

Google finds several out there, but none for the GT4 that I could find. Here’s a thread I commented in.

Id like to find out if Id need to refocus the GT4 reflector before proceeding, which is sometimes the case after dedoming or HI swaps. That for me has always been the frustrating part of surgery!
