Olight customer service

Just wanted to comment on Olight’s customer service …

I bought a couple of S15R’s and S30’s from Gearbest when they were having the big clearance sale last year. All of the lights worked fine until about three months ago, when I noticed one of the S30’s had developed a big parasitic drain issue. It would run down fully charged nitecore, samsung, and panasonic batteries in two or three days to the point where the protection would kick in and shut down the battery. I took the other, never used S30 out of the package and it worked fine until about a week later when the switch failed.

I filled out the Olight online service request but didn’t hear back, so a week later I sent an email to them describing the problems. They sent me an RMA number the next day and I sent the lights to a service center in the good old USA. They sent me an email a couple of days after they received the lights telling me that they were sending me two brand new S30’s as replacements. I got the new lights in the full retail package by the end of that week.

Total cost for the warranty service was $3.04 for me to ship the lights to them.
Total time from when I put the broken lights in the mail to when I had the new replacements was around two weeks.

Pretty good service.

Good thing about the mainline brands is that the customer service, not to mention the overall quality, pays for itself! Good to hear!

Good to know! I have an S30R II that flickers sporadically since new

If they have a good review, i might as well just take a look. The best part about having reviews that are not on the website, you get to know that its a pretty decent one
