Olight I6 Paladin XM-L

I have to admit this is one hell of a flashlight. Brighter than I thought it would be. The package says 560 lumens 420 ANSI. The quality is superb. It came with 2 Olight CR123A batteries.

Glad you like it…
I`m still waiting for mine!

it looks pretty good quality

It is a heck of a light and what a lanyard!

This is definitely the light that I will keep with my pistol, it is a simple on and off at full brightness, but with a tiny twist you can put it on low (or the reverse of that).

It has springs at both ends and a nice scabbard, and what a lanyard.

Yea it’s all that I hoped for and more.

Congrats.
Pleased to hear other forum members also getting their olight i6’s.
The lanyard is very high quality, as all the parts of the light.

Price?

I got mine today. Build quality was great on one, but not so good on the other. The “bad” one had a substantial amount of burrs on on tail threads, and the led was off center. It looks like the reflector centering piece was not correctly installed on it, and thus the reflector tries to push itself to one side when you tighten the bezel. Tint is mediocre on both; definitely neutral, but with a green spot with a blue spill. Still, for a light that’s <$20, these are just minor gripes.

—EDIT— Forgot to mention, I received cells for both the lights, if anyone was wondering.

Wait, the light was less than $20, you say?
Now I will go hunt for the thread which discusses where to find this for that price…

I sent the request to reserve these and I never got the purchase link email from wallbuys. Very disappointed.

If you got a bad one, do a return or warranty.

You can’t get them for $19 anymore. It was just a one time deal.

According to the tracking info, I will receive mine today….

glad to see some people are getting theirs! my tracking info finally updated to “will leave hong kong for its destination country” today

mine took 8 days to ship… and apparently sat in customs for another 8+/-

oh well… i dont mind waiting… this is going to be my edc for a while

have you tried on 18650

will it work on 2x rcr123/18350?

I haven’t tried a 18650.

I figured I would use the batteries that came with it. I would geuss it may be brighter on 6volts.

most likely yes…

the ability to run on cr123 is cool - i can buy some for emergencies and they have a 10 yr +/- shelf life

says it will run on 2x 16340

I just went out and tried my i6 with a 18650, it is a very nice beam.

I was comparing it to my (Wallbuys) LD22 and for some reason it helped me realize what a fine light my LD22 is, the I6 is twice as bright of course, 420L to 190L, but the LD22 is a perfect little twin brother to the i6, they had the same spill, the same long reach, they were very much high quality twins, except with more muscle of course in the i6.

This i6 definitely filled a niche in my light needs and I love just having an on and off button since I only intend to use the i6 for short term searching and looking around the yard and house, not for camping trips and in ways that need long run times and brightness options.

I’ll show you guys a couple of beamshots up close.

I’ve tried my redilast 3100mah cells and they fit. It looks like it might even fit larger cells; there was a fair amount of room left. I did not see any tangible difference between 18650’s and cr123’s, but I don’t have a light meter to confirm this.

This is my mailbox at right at 15yds. Now these were taken on man 1 sec shutter f/2.8 and ISO 400. I probably should have dropped it down to ISO 200. So slightly overexposed.

I’ll go take 2 more on ISO 200. But that 2nd one is pretty close.
