Just wanted to point out something that you mentioned in your other review. You asked them and they admitted the XP-L emitters used in the Javelots are de-domed by Olight in their factory.
A “XP-L HI” is actually a very specific emitter produced by Cree. When Olight de-domes XP-L’s on their own, the result is a different emitter, sometimes with additional coating / flat dome that they add back (e.g. with the M23) or not (as with the M3XS-UT Javelot).
Compared to Cree’s actual/authentic ‘XP-L HI’, Olight’s factory de-domed emitter could have a noticeable green tint in the output (mine does) and decreased robustness/durability/longevity of the emitter — my torch could suddenly die next week/month/year due to this, and I wouldn’t know, kind of like a Russian-roulette flashlight. =(
