So I just received my Olight Perun 2 a couple days ago.
I charged it up and tested/compared it in the backyard against some of my other lights.
The next morning I was taking a closer look at it and noticed the lens has multiple scratches in it.
I have no idea how these could have possibly happened.
Out of curiosity I lightly rubbed my fingernail across the lens to make sure it wasn’t that easy to scratch.
Unfortunately, it IS that easy to scratch.

Does it have a protective film over it that you need to peal off?

Nope, Already peeled off.
Olight is in the habit of using exposed plastic optics where other companies cover them with glass windows to prevent scratches.

I wish they would have used a glass window on the Perun 2 or at least some sort of scratch resistant material instead of this super easy to scratch material.

No such problems with the Batons and the Nova.
If there’s a problem with the TIR supplier, they’ll sort it out I presume. I’d just write a complaint and ask for a replacement.

I’ve had the S2R Baton II for over a year now. No scratches on its lens
