Olight SR95S UT Pictures - Updated with Beamshots!

Thanks for kind comments.

I wish that many more brand start using SBT-70. I am thinking about 4*SBT-70, will be 1MCD 5000 lumens and I think I am willing to pay $1000 for it if Olight came out one. But that won’t happen, I might just get FF4 to be my first HID flashlight. Wonder what will be the throw of FF4.

Now a 4 x SBT-70 light would be a monster. Even a triple would be unreal. The biggest issue would be driving the thing. It would 30-40a likely to get good power out of the led’s. Now that would be a led light that could truly take on and possible beat some high end HID’s. That would be really cool.

I’ve mod my TN31 with 4x 1ohm resistors, I call it TN314R1 now. I forgot to measure current consumption thoroughly before mod. I did measure it using battery, current is increased from about 1.53A to 1.83A measured by my handheld DMM. If assuming battery sagged to 10.5V, wattage increase from 16W to 19W. If assuming 30% efficiency, at least extra 2W goes to LED.

Now data of TN314R1 with power supply after 30s switched on for each voltage is as below:
10V : 1.89A = 18.9W
11V : 1.75A = 19.25W
12V : 1.57A = 18.85W
Not sure what is the current through LED. But sure it is driving high wattage enough. Now my TN314R1 heat up faster, that is what I like. Previously I always think it heat up too slow. But it still heat up slower than TN30.

Lux reading with ceiling bouce was 81 lux while TK70 163 lux. So I estimated to be 1100 lumens. Forgot to take reading before mod.

Peak intensity is about 13.1k lux while TK70 is 12.6k lux from 3 meter, translate to 118kcd vs 113kcd. Before this, TK70 occasionally score higher than TN31 especially after I clean contact of TK70, so basically they were on par. Now it looks like TN314R1 will be always higher than my TK70.
