I got into the flashlight hobby last month by buying a Convoy T3 at a low price…
Now I have 14 flashlights, and my wallet is completely empty. I’ve decided to consult with BLF for advice.
My current “hoarding” (in order of purchase):
Convoy T3 219C 4000K (My first flashlight, still in my pocket every day)
Sofirn SP36 BLF Anduril (The three-section version I was really interested in)
Wurkkos FC11 (The magnetic tail cap is amazing)
Convoy S2+ 519A 5700K dedome (Arrived last week, I love it on the ceiling and against the white wall)
Lumintop Tool AA 2.0 (Used for EDC)
I have a few questions I’d like to ask:
Which is better for everyday use, the 519A dedome 5000K or the 4500K? Are there any cost-effective 21700/26800 straight-tube headlight recommendations? My budget is under 300 (presumably RMB), and I want to balance projection and floodlighting. I’ve heard BLF has a bunch of classic headlight modification tutorials; is there a must-read collection for beginners?
As for 21700 headlamp. I dont see an emisar in your list. This is only forgivable because you have only been at it one month. But it would be best to rectify the problem asap. Emisar make a 21700 headlamp. DW4K. Make sure you get the lume X1 driver. The ngt emitters are pretty awesome.

We’ve had much different responses to buying flashlights. I hadn’t purchased a flashlight in years before I bought a Wurkkos T10-SG this summer. I liked the light but wasn’t crazy about the UI and bought a Convoy T3 thinking I’d put it in the Carrington box after I used it a while to see what kind of battery life it had shortly after I bought the Workkos and like the T3 so much I’m using it daily.
But to be fair, I did like the T3 so much I bought a bunch as Christmas presents.
It’s it would appear that there are multiple translation issues.

Nobody can tell you what is “best” for any one thing. You have to buy either 5 or 14 more and decide for yourself.
Although I would tell you to avoid cold and go warm.
You may consider yourself lucky as you got so many nice lights already!

Regarding your EDC, its very personal. Most BLF like rosy tints, like the B35AM and 519a 4500k dedomed. There are lots of pics comparing the tints, so you can just google for these pics.
