options for fw3a an fw1a without clip

hi guys

so im proberly one of them guys who doesnt like clips (or hasnt found the right one)

i have my fw3a and fw1a without clips, i took them off

what are my options to fil in that little space where the clip goes ?

You are not alone……
You can get the little replacement. I have one on mine (the one pictured is not mine), nothing else on it though, did think about a paracord thing but no - just deburred it as it’s quite sharp and polished it a bit. Really helps grip if holding between two fingers (thumb on back). Also stops it rolling off anywhere. :slight_smile: I’ll find it and post here

thats nice, but still i think i want something like a washer or maybe a copper washer. i just love the form of the fw3a series

maybe i buy a lanyard thing and try it out for a few days though

Yeah, you could make a copper one easily enough, you can get a wide range on ebay of copper washers, you may even be lucky enough to find an exact fit…… washers come in all different sorts! some are literally just tiny rings.
Also with that stainless ring, I have the stainless bezel and obviously the button is silver, so it all sorta matches nicely.
Here you go, copper washers the exact size you made need to adjust thickness, but maybe not since you may not need the silicone white rubber oring (i broke mine) - LINK

Right now the code is not working. Probably because it’s has a promo tag. Correct me if I’m wrong

I don’t know sorry, I got mine from Wydra off a code if memory serves me correct.
