When checking for battery capacity, Do I discharge to 3.7 or go lower? In discharge mode, it says to go to 2.8 for discharge capacity, but I thought a battery should not be taken below 3.7.
got mine yesterday. i can confirm that the v2 pcb has a larger (1000uf) capacitor, the v1 has 470uf. wondering if the larger capacitor is the solution henry xu mentioned for “improving” power supply issue hjk pointed out?
If you look at all my battery test, you will see that I go down to 2.8 volt.
Depending on battery the recommended minimum voltage is between 2.5 and 3.0 volt.
The 3.7 volt is not correct for a loaded battery.
That’s what I had suspected, but Henry’s response to the question of using a V2 power supply on a V1 board had me puzzled. While I didn’t think it would hurt, I wouldn’t expect any change in the behavior on a V1 charger unless they had also substantially increased the peak output current of the supply. Alas I cannot verify that, since the US adapter I got doesn’t have an LED, so there’s no way to observe the flickering HJK saw. However, it gives hope to V1 owners who may want to do a little improvement on their own. Depending on available space, it may even be possible to install larger 1500uF or 2000uF caps to mitigate the peak current issue more.

I don’t know about average, but my order was placed on 4/27, received shipment confirmation email on 4/29, but tracking didn’t really work until it hit NY on 5/6. Then it sat in NY for 3 days and didn’t move until just before the weekend, so I got it yesterday in tornado alley USA.

What tracking service did you use?
I’ve ordered two chargers, April 28th and May 3rd.
Tracking has just appeared for the first one but not yet for the second one.
In my case it usually takes 30 to 40 days to get things from China. 
Now I can answer it myself, it says “full”. Since I was doing the ‘refresh’ cycle, I wasn’t sure it was still operating, or had finished, but it does seem to have improved my old 2500, blue Trustfires.
The real bad one is still being refreshed and is at 4.16v, and up to 108f at it’s hottest spot, the one that was just old and tired, came off at 4.20 and 2016mAh.

Ok, I’m noticing a peculiarity after running 3 test cycles with 2 different sets of 4 cells. In all of the results, there is always one pair of exactly matching capacities, down to the last digit. It’s still a bit premature to say there’s a problem, but this seems too much to be just a coindicence. I haven’t paid attention to which slots were matching until now, so I don’t know if it’s consistent, but on this last test it was slots 1 and 4. The weird random low voltage and low internal resistance readings also occurred with slots 1 and 4. I wonder if this is a sign of a problem with my charger or if others are seeing something similar?

Dora just informed me we already hit 193 orders as of this posting.
Once we reach the 200-unit mark:
1. All those first 200 buyers will be sent a coupon code of $2/unit bought.
2. A new coupon code will be posted to make the 201th buyer onwards have it for $39.
So will we be able to order another unit for $39 - our $2 credit (for being the first 200 buyers) = $37 total ???
I cannot answer this now. I’ll have to check with Dora first. I don’t know if two coupon codes can be used in one order.
