Opus BT C3400 charger, updated info

I bought a new opus BT C3400 and I was wondering what people thought about since its release. I got to maintain all of my rechargeable batteries.

It has been out for a while now and most information that I find, is related to initial reviews. So I wanted to know if there is any new developments that I should be aware of or any tips.

Depends on what BT-3400 you have?

The BT-3400s were made for rdana on EBay and were slightly upgraded 3100s.

For starters, the 3400 v. 2.2 has a 2.80v cutoff for li-ions, a better fan and the ability to toggle off the display.

Earlier adopters, like me, complained that 2.80v was a bit low for their comfort levels, so v. 3.1 was released, which bumped the li-ion discharge level up to 3.10v.

I have both versions and use them often.

If you Google it, you’ll see that you can remove the bottom cover and drill a hole over a slider switch that will allow you to charge all three common li-ion voltages.

I have the V3.10 and so far I like it. I was able to do a charge test with 4, 18650 batteries at the same time, which I can’t do with my liitokala lii-m4s.

If I recall the only complaint with this charger is that the fan will likley need to be replaced as they used sleeve bearnig fan. Easy fix.

Thanks, that is good to know. So far I have been impressed with it. However I did a charge test and when it’s done it’s supposed to flash “full” but it’s not doing that. Is this something that I should be concerned about or return it for another one?
