Yeh, think it was last year one of my formerly-feral cats got out and it was freezing out, he went on a tour of all the backyards as I was trying to luuuuure him back in with cat-cocainum, to no avail. Went up in the attic to try to track his progress, and eventually lost sight of him. F it, got dressed for real to go out combing the countryside, or at least around the block, to try to nab him.
By the time I was fully dressed, he was sitting at the back door looking in the window to come inside.
He was the one who used to bum around the whole neighborhood all day and night. Always always always on the move. Probably explains why he, umm, “put on a few pounds” after turning into an Inside Cat.
Seriously. Last year I put so much of that foamstoff around the front door frame that I couldn’t close the f’n thing anymore. Had to thin it out. Same out the back. Used duct-tape around the window behind the jalousie shutters to seal out any leakage, no matter how ugly-ass it looked. Same dealy with the foam, that I gotta pretty much slam and pull on the door and deadbolt it so it won’t spring open on its own (which is how The Traveller got out that time).
LB, there are low expanding foams for windows and doors to prevent bowing the jambs. I don’t know how the animals take this weather. We have a flock of 25 turkeys show up at the bird feeder this past week. Awfully early in the winter for that. I think the drought this summer has something to do with it.
NNNnnnoooonononono, nono. I don’t mean spray-foam around the doors.
I mean the stickyside foam-strips that you put between door and frame to block obvious airgaps.
Think it’s the 3M stuff that comes as a sort of Swiss-roll. Got thin and thick, so where I see big gaps, I use the thick one, and where small gaps, the thin one.
Too much, though, and you can’t close the door anymore. Too much sponginess distributed around the entire periphery of the door…
Password is secure but my neighbor Aunt is a lawyer. She illegally got my password, gave it to niece, then the niece gave out my camera password and my internet password. If I change the password she will get the new password. She even bought stuff from Amazon under my account with my credit card. Then the lawyer block me from entering my Amazon account.
Internet provider has security that logs all who sign in my internet account. Some are using VPN that shows IP address from all over the world.
since you can’t change your password or do anything about it—how about posting it up here so we can take a look too, And put you CC and Amazon info too so we can buy some flashlight stuff? :money_mouth_face:
I don’t understand why you can’t change your password to something secure and why the fact that your neighbor is your Aunt and a lawyer enter into this.
At the very least, you should be able to do a factory reset on whatever router you have, then set up a new SSID, and use a new totally random complex password.
I also don't understand the relevance of the neighbor being his Aunt or a lawyer, but if she has factually captured his PW, could she have used a Keylogger to do it?

My neighbor isn’t related. My neighbor’s Aunt is a lawyer. That gave her my password.
Everything I enter into the computer she see. She will tell me my password. All my internet searches.
If I change anything she will see it. It kind of useless changing password when see everything. She a obsessed stalker.

Someone did me a favor. He looked up who accessing my internet. She was one of them. Along with other people from the neighborhood. My only option is to get rid of internet or get a lawyer and sue.
A few years ago saw a TV show interview of mark zuck of facebk/metta. He was sitting with his laptop on the desk—with a piece of masking tape at the top of the screen covering over the camera
So someone is accessing your WiFi? Getting your name and password from an ISP requires search warrants and lots of paperwork. Something a lawyer can’t just do because they want to.
I would immediately disconnect the input from my WiFi router. Log into the router, change the SSID and choose the option to not broadcast the SSID. Set it and your new password to something you have never used before. Then plug back in the input, have your devices login to your new connection and start changing all your other passwords, never using the same one twice.
If you have a lot of usernames and passwords set the same for a bunch of different sites. That is a big no no.
If they aren’t getting in via your WiFi connection then you have a whole bunch of other problems that will require someone locally helping you out.
The neighbor using my internet for editing video for someone. In her mind, she think she has the rights to use my internet since it’s a lot quicker. Then she became like a stalker. A few years ago she access my account on a forum and told someone not to reply with me in PMs.
My internet provider has a webpage that allows me to sign in and view who is on my network. Only IP address. The other neighbor told me about the website. He replied there’s big issues going on with people illegally accessing other people internet. It’s not just me having this issue. Businesses are experiencing the same. I had one business check who accessing there internet. He found over 100 people. In my case I have neighbors ask me why I go to this forum.
As far as warrants goes to get access to someone internet. It’s easy here. Lawyer get away with a lot. A judge told me this. In his mind, lawyers get away with a little to much.
I don’t know how to reset the WiFi router. My network says, WPA2-PSK for security type.
People warned me about the big issues. They know who started this. They replied to me that I’m on my own to resolve the issue like they did.
I have Norton 360. I don’t think anti malware us going to work.
I think I can block their IP address. People are using VPN. I don’t know what their real IP address is.
