Overview: All Eneloop batteries 2005-2024

I need 4 batteries for my marine VHF. I was looking at eneloop XX (newest gen), but then I found a review which stated that the XX have a slightly less voltage than the regular ones. My original battery is 6.0 volts, in any case I can’t achieve that with NiMh batteries. Now I’m wondering, should I go for the slightly higher voltage regular eneloops, or should I choose the XX with their less voltage but 25% more capacity and almost twice the price? What do you think?

I would suggest you check the curves in my AA comparison (they basically have the same voltage).
