The latest road find is a 3 LED headlamp that takes 3 AAA. This is an amazing light for the price. No sign of moisture inside. I have never been a headlight guy but more of a 2AA in the teeth guy. One nice feature is the plastic in contact with the head has holes to drain sweat It will be hanging on my handlebars until some one steals it. Robot or human?

I don’t get it. “Road find” implies you found it while biking, so the price is… free?

It might be a good deal for someone that refuses to use Li-Ion cells in a headlight or is on a very tight budget, but otherwise, there are better choices (that cost more, of course). 
Ozark Trail lights cost about a buck, and they are a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Good light to give to a kid who you know is going to loose it. And I guess better than not having a light. But honestly I’d rather pay $25 for a manker e02 if AAA is the priority or $15 for a sofirn/ wurkkos headlamp. I guess the question is how ghastly is the tint on that ozark trail main emitter?
The tint is fine. I have one of the newer low blue light laptops. I’m getting cataracts from spending too much time in Florida so I will not tolerate a high blue LED. I thought it would be interesting to read a Darkover novel using the red LED only. This was one of my stupider ideas.

I have a single AA plastic Ozark trail headlamp with three 5 mm leds 2 white and one red .
Replaced the two white with the Yuji 3400k high cri leds .
It’s lightweight as can be , beautiful tint , high cri and a favorite lil $2 light picked up at the goodwill .
I’d buy a dozen more If I could find them .
Nice way to vampire the last bits of voltage of alkaleaks .
