Evening all,

thinking about moving to the pacific northwest oregon/washington. Looking for job first then make the move. I have had some interviews that have been positive and waiting to hear back also need to travel to Coos Bay area in the next week or 2 for an interview as well. Wondering if anyone here is from there ? (North West) So as of now looking in the Longview area of Washington and coos bay area of Oregon, possibly Portland but that is still expensive, the idea is to save some money on life expenses and better place to raise a family.

Corvallis isn’t bad. Most university towns enjoy a diverse culture due to constant influx of new people. I went to school in Portland, it’s too cold and too wet for too long for me though.

I have a close relative in Coos Bay who describes it as the meth capitol of Oregon. Plenty of people with great energy and bad teeth…

Been down to Oregon Coast last year. Gone as far as Florence, OR to the sand dunes and stayed in Newport, OR…very nice scenic area.
