Is the dark spot visible in the real life or on the white wall beamshots only? How does such a thick centering ring influence the beam or the throw? You mentioned some minimal decrease from 1350 to 1300m, it it even noticeable with eyes?

No, there is not enough battery capacity to sustain it that long.
Using the short prototype and 4 30Q cells running at 2A it stayed in regulation for 45 minutes. Using 8 cells should give 1.5 hours and another ~1.5 hours before it hits LVP.
Using 35E cells will give it a bit longer run time.
Running it at 2.5A shortens these times, obviously.

I think the second email is automatic. Many have claimed not to receive it yet it’s gone into spam.

Does anyone have any ideas where to get a budget friendly lens cap/cover for the GT available either in the UK or from one of the big Chinese sellers ?
Someone posted about a neoprene cover available for about $7 on Amazon US, which looks perfect, but the same cover on Amazon UK is about $25.
I have not been able to find anything suitable & budget friendly (134mm id) on Amazon UK, Ebay UK or any of the Chinese sites.
I have seen a camera lens cover that will fit but it is over $100 so the same price as the GT itself.
