1229 kcd is fantastic btw. Do you know at what distance that measurement was taken? Curious bout all the talk on proper distances to use.

1,229 kcd = 2,217 meters, which is 1.38 miles to moonlight level

Ohhh - had to replay the snippet where you mention me several times - you know, the family…

I actually had a clip showing how I measured the beam distance, but the video was too long already so I cut it. Normally I measure at 5m, but that put the meter in to high of a range. I backed up to 10m and measured, then again at 15 meters. The measurements at 10 and 15 calculated back to 1m were similar. I got 1,176,000 at 10m and the 1,229,000 at 15m. Both were taken at “about” 30ish second. I put the light on a tripod, and then hold the meter flat against the wall moving it around until I find peak intensity.
