Well I read Millers mail during that time and he tried to get as many new interested in this flashlight and you could sign up the same day and get the light for 111 $. But even if he tried to fill it to 555 different people he couldnt do it. So he gave some of the first in the list a chane to get a second light for 111$. And all of them got a new email from him about a month later to pay 14 $ again. Lucky them but it was fair I think…

And at 150 USD, it still is a bargain for such a light.

For those that didn’t order the cells with the initial order and want to add them now. You can go back to the order page and just order the cells now and Neal said he will add them to your order.

For new orders, please order the cells together, it is much easier that way and less chance for mistakes.

After I ordered the batteries in addition, I realized that my order did not include a fee to PayPal.

What about Neal in this case? Because this is one more transaction to PayPal.

This is a good question, one that none of us thought about in the chaos.

For anyone else ordering cells going forward, adding in $2 of donation funds and then replying to the email explaining that it is an add-on order and the donations are to cover the fees?

Hopefully people from here on out order the cells with the initial orders.

I am passing this question on to see what they say.

So it sounds like there is no mystery as to who gets a 2nd light at the $115 price. We just need to look at the deposit list and see who has made TWO deposits. Does this sound correct?

Thanks for that, My guess is that either they didn’t all pay the downpayment or something else happened.

Without the miller being here to tell us exactly what happened with that, we have to go with the best information we have.

At the very least this tells us that only the first 22 people to request a second GT ever even had a chance at getting it.

If someone could figure out who those first 22 are that would be fantastic.

Anyone not on the list, is not eligible for a 2nd GT at the discounted price.

Those that are on that list, they are welcome to PM me about it. I would like to find out exactly what went down for those 22 people anyways. We will work out those on a case by case basis.

Yes, at this point that is still the official standing. There are 5 or 6 people that have a record of paying a deposit for 2 lights.

Apparently the first 22 to request a second light were going to be sent a PM requesting a downpayment. I want to figure out exactly what went down with these people before making a decision about how to handle their orders.

You have to remember that these are being shipped all over the world, no shipping containers involved. So no big discounts past normal commercial accounts prices either.

Yes I was thinking on Air containers ,much smaller , and DHL have HUB-s on all continents so as the majority of orders will be from US probably 65% some 30% EU, and 5% to the rest of the world explains how can price be lower than dual shipping option

Here is the top 45 from Post #3. You just have to subtract 621 from the first number. Tom E is 622 - 621 = 1st, etc…

This is a valid option, I was thinking big 40” shipping container.

They have not got that detailed about the shipping, so I really can’t comment.
