How can Vinh sell the GT when it is still only available for GB?

Most likely because he is trying to get a lumen reading from a sphere that is too small. If the entire reflector does not fit into the sphere it will read substantially less.
Actual OTF lumens should be closer to ~2200 as the Naked LED tested at ~2600 lumens and losses should not be more then 15% for reflector and AR glass.
How does he have stock?
This is a good question that I am also wanting an answer to.
My guess is that either he only has a handful that he got through the GB or that he went around the GB and somehow got some outside of the GB by making an offer lumintop could not refuse.
In the case of the first, it is fair game, more power to him.
In the case of the second…………
This is also possible, although I would like to think that he knows there is a difference between hi and turbo.

don’t sweat it. Even if the answer was what would we would not prefer to hear, it’s a done deal, nothing will change that.
It’s been known all along that after the group buy the GT would go public—-Lumintop is a business in China—-Pretty soon these lights will be every where—-Not what we want to see,but was always going to happen if this Project took off—-Every one should be happy that Lumintop agreed to extend the Group Buy the way they did—-Why would Vinh have to buy a bunch from the Group Buy—He’s a dealer that has done business with Lumintop before—Dealers are only going to pay 50% of list on most products—Just my take on it
Eh, I don’t care if he mods and sells them, in fact I wish him the best at it, these lights were designed to be modded.
My only issue would be if he cut in line to do it.
Like you said, nothing can be done about it at this point but it can be prevented in the future.

I think I was 321 (or 357) on the list. I paid the final payment within 1 day of getting the pm. I am a pretty patient guy, but if the flashlight is now on sale outside the GB the fun is a lot less. For me it was about getting my hands on a unique flashlight before anyone else did, the price point was a bonus.
I sent my name/e-mail address on a Google form asking for an update about the shipment. I can no longer find the form, and I did not get an update yet. I am hoping I will still get one.
Now I know everyone needs to be polite, agreed. But I am one of the first 555, I paid in full on dec. 2nd 2017. And now I will most likely not receive my light withing 3 months/12 weeks after my payment. Other people, having paid much later will have received theirs and (rumour) it is even available outside the GB. I expected a month, maybe 6 weeks, but not 3 months or more. I think some empathy for people waiting that long for their light is in order. I know the team from BLF is doing their best, but I also know how dissapointing it is if you are no longer a part of the “happy few”.
For me, when (if?) I receive my light it is going to be a mixed bag. I will hopefully still love the light. But the sweet feeling of being one of the first to have it and being part of a small group of enthusiasts (nuts) is certainly gone 
I still hope I will be receiving it and I will get an update soon though 
Ok, I got an update on the skylumens lights, it seems that he got 10 lights from that same Girl at lumintop that was selling them on facebook awhile back.
So it is not like these are “for sale” outside of the GB, as those 10 lights won’t go far.
Man, that Gal at lumintop has caused more extra work on this GB then everyone except the reflector factory…. :person_facepalming:

Just making a point Jason that each time someone overstepped and sold lights and caused problems over stepping the group buy it was always her that was blamed but it doesn’t matter to me, I have my light and so do you. But the people who have had all this time waiting on reflectors probably do care. I wonder how many other customers she has other than skylumen? I’m going to delete my other post so it isn’t misunderstood, however Im not worried about what you think is crazy.
