i havent receiver tracking code, so i sent a PM to neal and subcribed this theard
I was contacted by Neal a couple days ago, but no tracking number.
Was just woken by the postman after two hours sleep - so here’s just a quick photo taken with my phone camera, before I got back to bed for a few hours.
It came in one box (even though I’d chosen registered shipping), and the packaging was immaculate, with all components protected by dense foam.
Looks like I’ll have plenty of fun tonight!

My GT came! Goodness, this thing is HUGE.
PM-ed Neal about my tracking number.
He responded within a few hours and now I have a tracking number !
It’s in my city most likely to be delivered in the next few days.
All I can say is: KUDOS to the new communication speed by Neal.
Please keep it up.
I just set my GT to mode set UI with mode no.8.
I prefer single press to access 2.5A turbo compared to double click in ramp mode.

Yes, Neal is doing a good job.
He got overwhelmed and was getting a lot of abuse from people about things he had no control over so he just kind of shut down. I can’t blame him, I want to do the same thing every time I wake up to this thread having 100 posts since I know something happened that I don’t want to deal with.
Please be sure to thank him whenever you talk to him, he needs to know that people appreciate what he is doing.
I am not sure if this thread will stick around but a basic update on the situation for those that didn’t see my update in the old thread is that things are moving in a very good direction now.
Communication lanes have opened and we are set to start getting issues sorted out quickly. Just make sure you have filled out the survey 1 time if you have an open issue.
I am also trying to get a far far better option for orders for the next batch, I will not do it the same as last time.
I will give you more details once some things are finalized.
It’s really nice to see things running so smoothly now. Hopefully the remaining issues will be resolved soon - let there be Giggles all around the world!

Team Giggles and Neal - thank you. In between work I’ve had the opportunity to muck around with my light and it’s perfect. No blemishes, UIs seem to work as described. Additionally, I’m able to make a light spot on my neighbour’s house about 15 metres opposite of me in sunny weather. This thing is mental. Thanks again.

so it turned out the light hasn’t been shipped :person_facepalming: , and he asked me what value should the light be declared
so at least 2 weeks i will receive the light
anyway, i’m not mad this time, because i know what’s going on
Yes, I will go into more detail later once I understand the full scope of the situation but things are a bit of a mess with all the manual human input that was involved in the order and shipping process. Some orders were lost, some people got 2 tubes or 2 heads and in some cases the workers shipping the lights messed up altogether and some orders feel between the cracks.
Communication is flowing much better now, so make sure you filled out the survey (just once please) and hopefully things should start getting back on track soon.
