Now, what could possibly go wong?
I wonder how many hoverboard batteries it uses?

Just say that was not the drone we looking for
Once upon a time, it was called a flying car.
Now everything is a fracking “drone”. The media love the word drone. Remote controlled planes, helicopters, multi-rotors were (and still are) RC aircraft. Now they are all drones.
~ edit ~
I see the site actually never calls it a drone. Instead appropriately referring to it as autonomous airborne taxi, flying car and autonomous aerial vehicle.
Only TP called it a drone. Good buzzword click baiting TP.
Glad to be of service…
BTW, apparently the flying head/leg chopper drone costss $200,000 - $400,000 dollars, flies for around 20 minutes, 60 MPH, 20 miles. Takes 2-4 hours to recharge. Sounds awfully practical to me…
Anyone who would trust their life to a computer like that has never used a Windows OS. This might give a new meaning to BSOD, changing it to “Blue Skies Of Death” when the system (and the aircraft carrying the person) crashes without warning

What happens when Microslurp tries to cram a Widows 10 upgrade down its’ throat in mid-flight? Should be entertaining…
“Update installed. Your air taxi will now reboot”
I have to admit when I read this part
I laughed and thought “idiot-proof interface, maybe. But those rotors definitely don’t appear idiot-proof” Little bit more important.
Slices, Dices, and Makes Julienne Fries
The whole thing is a joke.
Now that’s what I call a riding mower. Eat my dust JD.
It can’t autorotate like a helicopter. This is very, bad. The only safety net would be a parachute, if installed.
The idea isn’t new, it’s just been tweaked a bit. The Moller M400 Skycar has been a prototype for a long time, but it suffers from the same safety problem.
I waited decades for a hoverboards and rocket cars. It’s time for someone else to carry the torch.
This was on news. Batteries last up to 27 minutes. The local anchors where poking fun.
Btw, founder of this company died in plane (that he built I think) accident and co founder or main engineer, something like that, died while testing their new helicopter design.
Excellent references
My first though was, Legs will be lost.
