Paypal SUCKS!

Yep, that looks like a great dog.

The dog probably couldn't handle extreme summers like we have, though.

Someone who lives in NYC now, but used to live in Alaska before, told me -10 in nyc is worse than -30 in alaska. Not sure why, can't be the humidity, there isn't any below freezing, is there?

^

I donā€™t get that. Doesnā€™t make sense to me unless if the wind tunnels through New York. thatā€™s the only thing I can think about but you get wind up in Alaska in open areas so itā€™s the same difference

I agree.

When I would visit my dad in Florida or other hot climates like where you live in California and see a husky I felt sorry for him. They donā€™t belong in those type of environments. Believe it or not it can still get hot here. In northeast Pennsylvania . it still gets in the upper 90s and humid so he doesnā€™t like the summer neither do I.

Thatā€™s the difference between California and the Northeast.

Lots of California is a desert climate. The first time I visited my aunt and friend there(LA Area) it was 90Ā°. I got off the plane didnā€™t even feel hot to me. You throw in the humidity thatā€™s what gets you. The humidity is similar in opposite way as chill factor. You got 20Ā° out with no wind itā€™s not too bad you get 35Ā° with 30 mph winds and it feels way way worse.

When I visit Germany, where that side of my family lives about 100 km Southwest of Frankfurt. Itā€™s colder here in Pennsylvania than it is there at least the part of Pennsylvania where I live.

The other sideā€™s in Italy. My grandmother was born in the mountains where the elevation is from 5000 to 8,000 ft. Itā€™s beautiful. Itā€™s about an hour from the Adriatic Sea but in the mountains in a national park. Very sparse.

Oh yesā€¦ I can get very cold up there to, summers are nice because of the elevation.

Thanks.

Thatā€™s a beautiful picture

Beautiful Fall Foliage.

I canā€™t remember if I chatted with you before. Iā€™m getting old! How far are you from kindenheim? KindenHeim is about 10 km east of Worms. Not far from Manheim. About an hour and a half Drive south west of Frankfort! Thatā€™s as best as I can describe it.

Itā€™s a very small town.

I donā€™t think weā€™ve chatted before. Iā€™m located ā€œfarā€ north, near Hanover in Lower Saxony, about 500 km away from Kindenheim.
