Personal protection, flashlights with electric shock function, what is your opinion!

Dimbo.,

I could talk all day about this but I have a christening to go to….

I wasn’t being sarcastic. England is a relatively safe place. There are some parts of it considerably less safe than others, but it isn’t bad on the whole.

Our ruling class see fit to ban what they like. Any length locking knife is effectively banned, as I’ve said, unless you can prove a legal authority to have it on you in public (your own home is fine). Most of the murders I’ve had to investigate over the years have been committed with £2 kitchen knives from the likes of Asda (Walmart)….

In the USA it appears the political consensus on self defence is at the opposite end to that in the UK. Here, if anyone uses MORE than reasonable force to defend themselves, Police included, they could well expect to face prosecution.

It’s just the way it is and the politicians have convinced the public that any type of knife is a lethal danger.

I only started carrying one at work when I was with my colleague and we came across a young lad trying to hang himself. Thank goodness my mate had his old Opinel with him……

Right, I’m out.

“Here we go!” Deafening sound of electric arcing. “Inaudible expletives” Unplugs. “That’s Evvvill… Lets try it again.”
