It seems to me that the term EDC has a totally different meaning to everyone, so much so that when folks say EDC I am no longer sure about what they mean. To some it means WDC (Work Day Carry). To others it means MDC (Most Day Carry). While to a few it means STC (Some Times Carry) or even simpler just, Pocketable.
As far as I am concerned EDC should mean what it says; Every Day Carry in the same way that one’s keys or mobile phone are carried every day. So I just can’t see that any 18650 light could ever be an EDC. After all who carries one when wearing a suit or even a tux when attending a formal function for example.
It isn't all that often that I have to wear a tux, so I consider my L2P a EDC. I mean I probably carry it 90% of the time so to me that is close enough.
i have actually had a problem with that a while ago. it made my fiance so mad. im sure i wasnt fully sleeping, but most of the time i would not remember it
EDC is what fits my pants. P60 hosts (like L2P) fit, but not that comfortable. Small 18650 hosts on the other hand fit very nicely. They are about the height and thickness of my purse, and thats where I carry them.
Wallet, keys, phone, light, 1911. Anything else I need is in the car.

Edit:
And actually, I don’t carry a full wallet. Just a small front-pocket “mini-wallet” with cash, ID, health-insurance card, debit card and my american express. My full wallet stays locked in the glove-box of the car and has the rest of my ‘stuff’. Too much to carry all the time…
ecig, wallet, keys and phone are the only true edc for me. then theres either a kershaw skyline and leatherman ps4, or a leatherman wave. and depending on what im doing i have been carrying my v31a quite often lately
To me, EDC is anything I could regularly carry on my person, not necessarily every time I leave the house. That's just foolish to suggest one can only call it EDC if you have it on you at all times every day of the week.
I EDC a flashlight nearly all the time (at least one of them, often 3 or more) and I have NEVER regretted having one on my person but I sure have regretted not having one on those rare occasions I've forgotten to grab one.
Exactly the reason I carry my new BLF A8 in my front pants pocket. I’ve never had as much attention from the ladies as I do since that light has arrived.
