$2 for 4? I guess the $1 for 2 is the same. By the price I don't expect much from them.
Then again your test show the Philips LongLife do pretty well and these PowerLife are supposed to be better.
Anyway I bought them, $1 isn't much.
I'd like to see how they go in your test old4570.

Varta - 200mAh D/R = 1325mAh
Coles - 200mAh D/R = 1466mAh
Ok the other Alkaline batteries :
The Phillips did 1354mAh in the powerex ..
Will run it down in the light next ...

Phillips - 200mAh D/R = 1354mAh - 80min
Varta - 200mAh D/R = 1325mAh - 90min
Coles - 200mAh D/R = 1466mAh - 100min
Well , not a terrible Alkaline for the money ... certainly a lot better than dry cells

Nice, not bad. I probably got my $1 worth
I looked in my local Coles today, the one in your test isn't there either but they had something like a "Coles Advance" or "Coles Super" battery but they were pretty expensive.
My brothers girlfriend buys the same Varta batteries in your test for the kids toys, I have no idea where they get them from but they buy them in bulk and its cheap. Ill have to ask them.
Seems like the best go at the moment.

She said she gets the Varta ones from Bunnings, "20 or 30 for $7"
Anyway those Philips battries have gone up to 10 left again, for $1 delivered, 1 per customer for anyone interested.

I might stop in there and get some next time I go to town.
Im currently waiting on some other battries too, I got a 4 x AA pack of Energizer Ultimate Lithium for $9.45. Kind of a impulse buy though cos I feel like they are too expensive to use, they are $20 in the supermarkets here.
And I got two 2 x AA packs of Sanyo Eneloops for $6.80 each, not bad I think cos a 4 pack here is $22.
I think I might move away from 18650s and go towards AA's, like the JetBeam PA40. I just wish there was something similar with a higher output.

Ok just got back from Bunnings ... for a new 30 pack , only have 3 batteries left from the old 30 pack .
its now $9 for the 30pack of Varta , which is still a good deal ...
The Phillips are $10 for 20 , so 10 extra Varta for a $1 less ...
