Pick a light for me to do a "Basic" review on !

i have not done a review yet on any lights, and want to do a basic review on a light i have in my collection, but dont know what one, or what one that has not been done already yet by somone else.

Since most of the more expensive, Brand-name, and popular lights have been reviewed many times already that i have,
Here is a “Short” list of some of the more budget lower-cost lights in my collection that are not modded yet, and thought about doing a basic review on, but not sure which one, or what ones have been reviewed already, that others are familiar with.

- Coast G10

- Ultrafire G10

- Generic 0.5 watt EDC Twisty

- Generic 0.5 watt clicky EDC

- Sipik SK68 (the original)

- Ultrafire PD32 (Fenix Clone)

- 117 TK35 ( Fenix TK35 Clone)

- Leto 26650 XM-L ( the “large” SK98 clone)

- Ultrafire Silver C8 XR-E

- Ultrafire “Long-range” C8 XM-L

- Hugsby XP2 2-AAA

- MXDL 1-AAA Pen Light

- MXDL XT7224 Pen Light

- Defiant 3C 525 LM

- NEW-303 XR-E Torch/Lantern

- Garrison 1-AA “Touch” Torch/Lantern

- Richuang RC-7001 1-AAA

  • A ton of others i can’t think of right now.

I have a fiew more low-priced lights that interested me on order, and waiting to see what they do too.

I bet you really want to do it on the Defiant 3C. I'll vote for that one. Since you're going to mod it, what about saving space to write up your mod?

mehh who cares……

Just kidding  I’d like to see a lantern review, namely that garrity 3rd dash from bottom!

Maybe I should buy this thing sooner than later.

If I review it, it'll be a very basic review, and then I'll start modding and do a write up on the mod.

The one i listed is the non-Super Thrower. ( i have the next model from the DST in my colection too.

I have a collettion of Lanterns too. I tend to like the top-emitter models over the lower-emitter ones. ( like the one in your link.) the top-emitter models produce more “down” light and less eye glare when on a table below eye level. ( the lower-emitter models seem to be ok as a hanging lantern reflecting their light off white celings or tents roofs.

i fixed the typo there, it was a ” Garrison Touch mini lantern/flashlight” as seen in this photo ( far left blue one)
it changed from lantern/night light to flashlight mode as soon as its touched/picked up.
