sorry to see Reylight being copied and Cloned. I encourage people to buy a Real Reaylight, not the clone

Welcome to BLF! You don’t specify material, so I assume you’re looking at titanium as the Edoluc (unfortunately, IMO) doesn’t come in aluminium.
Both lights should be fairly similar, Edoluc are a new brand, I’ve not seen their lights reviewed. Zeroair reviewed a titanium reylight pineapple here.
The updated tailcap of the pineapple is far superior to the old version which left the button exposed and could result in accidental activation.
The beautiful (out of stock) superconductor material was $350!

My Edoluc AA came in today and doesn’t work right. It sometimes doesn’t come on, flickers, doesn’t change modes right.

I guess I got lucky as mine is working. Just that the tail switch feel very rough and squeaky. I think they can improve on their tail switch.
Worth checking all the contacts are clean and making good connection, perhaps the cell tube is slightly too long and the cell doesn’t make good contact with the terminals?
Else it sounds like you got a lemon.
Edit: just seen you posted in the Edoluc thread that you’ve tried troubleshooting, hopefully you get a good outcome.
Got it working by loosening the switch ring as directed by Edoluc. see other thread

I totally agree with you. But… I do not think this is a Reylight copy or clone. I don’t own an Edoluc light but as far as I can see I don’t think parts of it are interchangeable with that of a Reylight. What’s under the hood (bonnet) is at best guessing. If it were up to me, I would like to own a Reylight AND an Edoluc. Not OR.
I DO own a Reylight. Here shown en route from beadblasted to polished.

I understand your perspective, @jon_slider , but I’m with @Henk4U2 in this one.
The designs from Edoluc and Reylight are different - specially the 14500 version - and only the tails are more similar in the 10440 versions.
But, if you want to see “real” copies, AliExpress has a few of them, specially from the 10440 version.
I also think that Rey’s words on reddit do not clarify completely the situation.
But this is just my perspective!
