Beware, I have the S11 switch and bought the reverse clickie replacement and it didn’t fit. It specifically states that this switch is for the L2P, and it just may be that it works for that model ONLY! Please someone correct me if I’m wrong because I would love to turn my S11 into a reverse clickie too!
I honestly have no idea - I haven’t bought that switch. Just suggested it because it was on there. That being said, I’ve read that the different switches that are available out there can be slightly modded to fit a wide variety of lights… My guess is that the SF reverse clicky switch could be minimally adjusted to fit several tailcaps.
This looks exactly like my L2P switch and would be the most likely to be a perfect match for the inside switch mentioned above. The inside switch above will NOT fit with minor modifications on other switches. (at least not on the S11). solarforceflashlight-sales.com
I bought the reverse clicky switch for my non tailstanding L2P and it was way to big, filing it down didn’t help either cause so much had to come off there was no contact ring left on the board attached to the switch,
I’ve emailed them twice after that they started ignoring my emails.
here is a copy of what i emailed them.

My second reply.
I’ve seen the video. I saw it before i emailed you. I tried again and pushed as hard as i could. only thing that happen was the boards cracked in two places. once the switch was in far enough
to just try it out and the switch doesn’t work any more.
How can you claim this switch fits when it clearly doesn’t. The switch is just way to big. over 2mm to big. and your trying to squeeze it into a sold piece of aluminium. maybe in the video you got lucky and got it in but this switch that you sold me that’s. Maybe in the video that switch wasn’t as big as what i have?
in my hand does not fit. and if if ever did and it stopped working one day it would be a nightmare to get out.
I’d ask for a replacement but if your sending me the exact same thing it will never fit.
My model is a L2P that came with a forward clicky
Any advice moving forward. I got a 3 mode drop in that doesn’t change modes properly?
Hey, I have the L2P and mine worked without a hitch. It didnt work on my S11 switch though. The L2p HAS to be 2011 version or later in order for the inner switch to work.
It’s the dumbest thing about Solarforce, even counting the black-on-black-website-with-black-hardware-on-black-background illustrations.
I’ve gone through the tailcap pictures and descriptions repeatedly.
Makes me think they’re really in the fancy-tailcap business and flashlights are the sucker cheap come-on, after which they make their money selling tailcaps.
When I’d had it with my recent shorty L2M Solarforce lights (which came with projecting easy-on-in-your-pocket non-tailstanding switches) — and couldn’t justify the pricey replacement switches even if I could figure out which would work — I got a thick hose washer, thick enough it will extend past the button, and glued it to the back of the tailcaps.
No more “is that another light on in your pocket or are you radioactive again” jokes in the household since.
Reverse clicky: Light comes on when the switch is released (after clicking).
Forward clicky: Light comes on momentarily when the switch is half-pressed and stays on when it clicks.
The forward clicky can be useful, but it can also interfere with changing modes. For a drop-in host, like the SF L2, that can be a real problem with some drop-ins.
