Purchased from a fairly new aliexpress seller Shenzhen guija

Came well packaged in a retail box completely undamaged. It arrived to Canada in about 16 days!

Comes with 2 cords, bicycle mount and silicone protection wrap.
Light and components were perfectly mark free.

Anodized Aluminum construction, threads are all very nice, anodized and not greased.

Flashlight red part is just slightly offset but barely noticable, reflector has slight machining marks, Light seems to have perfect machining and anodizing otherwise.

Regarding the flashlight end of this device it is very throwy. It is actually slightly brighter than my tangsfire c8 at long range but has a much smaller hotspot and far less spill. I would think that the 350 claimed lumens is accurate. It does have a few weird rings in the beam. It has high, low and 3, yes 3 bonus disco modes, but if you remember to give it a long press it will shut off without having to go through the painful disco modes. One additional quick press will turn it back on to high.

Actually everything in the description seems accurate.
Starting with the battery - which I promptly put in backwards the first time which did not harm the flashlight. It takes 18650 unprotected it cannot fit protected cells in the light as the battery hole is a little too narrow.

The radio does shut off when the battery gets low (also a warning light blinks) and the charger seems to charge properly and shut off,- ———but I am still testing——— this-.
Yes it does charge to exactly 4.2 volts and shuts off. The battery seams to last all day on the radio and a few hours on the flashlight.

The sound to me is very good for a small unit, but probably would not impress a young guy with a booming bass system in his car. FM works well, you must constantly hold it in your hand as an antenna or use the supplied cord which acts as an antenna. It has auto search for FM channels. I hooked it to my phone and laptop and it works well as a speaker. I have not tested the mp3 function as it does not come with a memory card and I do not have one, but I think that would likely work great as well.

It comes with Chinese instructions. Can you read this?

Just Kidding, very good English instructions are on the other side.

Come on “old lumens”, live a little. You got to get one of these so that you can listen to pink as you mod.

“Can” rating 5/5

cool light… but I’m really surprise if this light can out throw Tangfire C8… you must have a bad C8 :stuck_out_tongue:

Is it an XP-G emitter?

Interesting…I wonder what it uses as the Li Ion charge controller

Probably so…XP-E are rated for 1500mA (300% rated output!)…on GOOD direct heat copper sinkpad/noctigon you can push higher…but on aluminum…probably not

Worse comes to worse…order an XP-G (also a 1500mA) from FT, a 20mm copper sinkpad from ebay, then reflow and resolder (if the driver only pushes 1400mA even a XM-L would improve the light output)

You always want to run the light thru the driver…direct drive at 4.2vdc is WAY HOT on those emitters…(a possibly moderately used battery almost needing charging would be safer, but a fresh battery is enough to cook a LED)

Not sure what that PCB is on the back side of the screw in pill with the metal nubbin bit…doesn’t look like it has a whole lotta room between the emitter, possibly the driver??

Either way, interesting little setup…hope you get it fixed up soon
