so what is it that stops anduril or another good ramping software, from going in a 1xAA or 1xAAA light?
not enough volts to run the processor?
circuit board too small?
or am i missing some?

Just needs a driver that can do the job. The GT proved that Anduril can run just fine on a boost driver - just no one has done it yet.
Part of the issue is that the BLF community clamors for 14500 support, which makes driver design far more complicated. If you’re just looking for a ramping AA/14500 light, the Acebeam H40 does a decent job - but it’s far from Anduril.
Not much lumens range for single aa/aaa ramping
This may be a good thread to look at: Sofirn SP10 Pro (AA/14500/Andúril 2) - now available!
It is the “interest thread” for a possible BLF Edition of the Sofirn SP10S AA/14500 with Anduril.
1 to 100 would be ok

Ramping AA?

Sunwayman V11r w AA extender
The magnetic rotary has a much simpler and more muggle friendly Ramping UI than Anduril
