I recently ordered a RAVPower 10050 mAh power Bank from Amazon. Original cost was $14.99 and with a $5.00 promotion I got it for $9.99.
Unfortunately the light indicating the charge did not work and I returned. I wanted a replacement, but so far I have a refund of $9.99. I am hoping they will apply the promotion to the price if I reorder. I will see. However if they do not I may opt for the Xiaomi 10000mAh Power Bank which costs $19.98.
How do the two; RAVPower and Xiaomi compare? The extra $5.00 is not a large factor if the quality of the Xiaomi is better. I have a Mophie at present. So far I like it, but I think it is more expensive.
Thanks, Jeansy,
I just got an email from Amazon and they are going to give me the $5.00 credit for the promotion. I will go w ith the
RAVPower. I am well pleased with Amazon in all the business I have done with them.
I do appreciate your comment. Thanks, again.

If you are referring to the xiaomi powerbank 2 then it should out-perform the RAVpower by a great margin. The Ravpower uses 3x 18650 cells and normally powerbanks this type have peak efficiency around 85% delivering ~30Wh on the output side. The Xiaomi uses high density 3.85V LiPo and paired with the high efficiency boost chip it will put out up to 36Wh. That is about 20% extra output while having the same capacity rating.
Here I reviewed the xiaomi and in my opinion this is one of the best 10,000mAh powerbank money can buy.
Thanks, Will,
No, I was looking at the Original 10,000 mAh Xiaomi.
In truth I have little need for any Power Bank as I do not travel any longer, but I enjoy “fooling with” some of this “stuff.” My Daughter gave me a Mophie, but I don’t know what its capacity is. There was no box and I cannot find anything on the unit.
I appreciate your input.
